Guests feel the difference before they sit. They walk in under a balloon arch in your colours, past a welcome stand, into a tent laid with dressed tables and fresh flowers. The seating is white Chiavari chairs, the slim, ladder-backed event chair whose design dates from 1807, when the cabinetmaker Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi built the first ones in the Italian coastal town of Chiavari. At the front stands a white board stage, and behind it a balloon backdrop carrying your words.

Why the stage matters

Almost every event has a moment when someone needs to be seen. A chief executive opening a product launch. The couple cutting the cake. A father of the graduate who has written three pages of speech. Raising them on a stage changes how the room listens. It also gives the photographer a clean line and keeps the backdrop in every shot. From 70 guests the package brings a second stage, useful for a band beside the speeches.

For a company, this is the event decor that looks deliberate: chairs in rows or at round tables, the brand colours on the arch and the backdrop, and a stage for the awards. Event decor packages and prices

For 30 guests the package costs KSh 37,400; for 80, KSh 85,800; for 150, KSh 144,400. Our crew’s set-up, take-down and collection are inside each figure; transport is added from the distance. A 50% deposit confirms the booking, and the balance clears before we unload. Arches and stages multiply as the event grows: two arches from 60 guests and three from 120, a second stage from 70, and a styling cart from 100. Every size keeps one dressed table for every 10 guests.

Comparing quotes from decorators

How much do wedding decorators charge, or corporate ones? The honest answer is that quotes are hard to compare, because a decorator’s price may cover only the flowers and drapes while the tent, chairs and tables come from someone else. Before you compare, ask each one the same questions. Does the price include a tent, and for how many? Then go down the list together: chairs for every guest and which kind, tables and linen, a stage and the backdrop, who sets up and who takes it all down afterwards, and whether transport is extra. Colours and the finer points

Pick a colour story when you book: navy and silver for a corporate evening, white and gold for a wedding, sage and cream for a garden lunch. Balloon and flower shades vary a little between batches, so expect the colours you asked for rather than an exact copy of a screen.
