Each strip is 1.5 m across and 10 m long by our listing, so two side by side cover a 3 × 10 m walkway, 30 square metres for KSh 15,000. Measure the area, multiply length by width, and that is the number of square metres you pay for over the 24-hour hire. Delivery from Uthiru is added by distance and a 50% deposit holds the date. What happens if I need to cancel?
More than 7 days before your event, we will move your deposit once to a new date within 60 days, subject to availability — we would rather keep your business than keep your money. The new date has to be mutually confirmed, and if quantities, location, season or logistics have changed the quotation may be revised. Within 7 days of the event the deposit is normally non-refundable and non-transferable, because by then equipment, décor, staff and transport have already been committed to you. If an event is cancelled after we have dispatched, arrived, started setting up or prepared customised materials, the full outstanding amount may remain payable. Any statutory cancellation or refund rights you have under Kenyan law are unaffected by any of this.
What happens if something gets damaged or goes missing?
Tell us straight away — do not try to fix it or set it aside quietly, because that usually makes it worse. Ordinary wear and tear is expected and is never charged. Beyond that, you are responsible for loss or damage while items are in your care: broken chairs, tables or glassware, damaged décor, burns, torn fabric, permanent staining, lost cushions, missing tent components, and damage caused by guests or by moving things without permission. Where something is repairable we charge the reasonable repair cost; where it is lost or beyond economical repair, the reasonable replacement cost. We can provide photographic or inventory evidence where it is needed.
