Two games in one inflatable
A bouncy castle with dry slide gives children two things to do inside the same 6 × 6 m footprint: a walled bounce floor, and a climb up to a slide. "Dry" means it is used without water, so nobody needs a change of clothes. By our listing it takes 8 to 10 children aged 3 to 10 at a time, which suits a birthday in a home garden, a school or church fun day, or a family celebration. Its commercial-grade, puncture-resistant PVC is built for hire use and frequent cleaning, not for a season in one back yard.
Commercial bouncy castle hire: the price
Hire is KSh 8,500 per day for a 24-hour hire counted from when our crew finishes setting up. Delivery, anchoring, inflation, the child minder, cleaning and collection are inside it. Transport is added by distance from our base in Uthiru, and a 50% deposit holds the date. For a smaller garden, the 4.5 m garden bouncing castle is KSh 6,500; for a crowd of older children, the large bouncing castle is from KSh 25,000. Every size side by side is on our bouncing castle prices in Nairobi page.
The space, the ground and the power
Our listing asks for a flat area of at least 7 × 7 m, on grass or concrete, which leaves half a metre round the castle for the stakes, the ropes and children climbing off. Look up as well as down: no branches, wires or washing lines over that square. On grass, the UK Health and Safety Executive asks for at least six anchor points with metal stakes at least 380 mm long; where stakes cannot go in, each anchor point needs at least 163 kg of ballast. So tell us the surface when you book and the crew brings the right anchors. The blower runs the whole time the castle is up, from a power supply on your side; if it stops, the castle sinks slowly, which is why HSE asks for the deflation to be tested before children go on.
Bouncy castle slide rules, and who watches
By our listing a child minder from our team runs the castle: counting children on, keeping play orderly. Parents and guardians still supervise their own children for the whole event; our terms say so plainly. HSE asks for constant supervision and for bigger users to be kept apart from smaller ones, so let the 3 to 5 year olds have their own turns. Shoes and glasses come off and pockets are emptied before climbing in. On the slide, one child down at a time, feet first, and off the bottom before the next one starts. Active play is recommended between 10am and 6pm.
On the day, and when the weather turns
The crew arrives about two hours before your event to check the ground, the anchoring and the power, and inflation takes about 20 minutes once the area is clear. Before it leaves our Uthiru base the castle is pressure-washed and vacuumed, and on site it gets a skin-safe disinfectant before the first child climbs in. It is a dry-weather castle. In heavy rain, play stops. HSE sets the wind limit for any play inflatable at 38 km/h, Force 5 on the Beaufort scale; above that the children come off and the blower goes off. Safety decisions come before the programme.
Which design comes
The castles in this size come in different printed themes, and which one is free depends on your date. Tell us the date and any theme you hope for, and the quote names the castle you are getting. If a cartoon theme matters to the birthday child, ask before you plan the cake around it. Booking water play instead? The bouncing castle water slide is a different item; the bouncy castle with slide hire on two slides, the obstacle course castle and the white bounce house are the other choices, and the rest of the party is under kids' entertainment hire.

Castle and slide questions
How much does it cost to hire a bouncy castle with dry slide?
KSh 8,500 per day, with delivery, anchoring, a child minder, cleaning and collection. Transport is added by distance, and a 50% deposit holds the date.
What is the bouncy castle age limit?
By our listing, children aged 3 to 10, with 8 to 10 on it at a time and the bigger ones apart from the small ones.
How much space does it need?
A flat area of at least 7 × 7 m on grass or concrete, with nothing overhead.
Can you use a bouncy castle in the rain?
No. It is for dry weather; play stops in heavy rain, and in wind above 38 km/h.
Do I need to provide electricity?
Yes, a continuous power supply for the blower for as long as the castle is up.
Can I choose the design?
Tell us your date and the theme you hope for; the quote names the castle that is free.
What are the safety rules for bouncing castles and play equipment?
Children must have appropriate adult supervision at all times — this is the one rule we will not flex on, and parents, guardians and organisers remain responsible for it throughout the event. Beyond that: follow the manufacturer’s age, capacity and safety instructions; keep food, drinks, sharp objects and shoes off the equipment where prohibited; do not move equipment after it has been installed; do not overcrowd it; keep older and younger children separated where you can, because collisions between different sizes cause most of the injuries we see; and adults should not use children’s equipment unless it is specifically rated for adult use.
What happens if it rains on the day?
Our canvas is heavy-duty and waterproof, and an ordinary Nairobi downpour is not a problem. What we will not pretend is that a tent is a guarantee against flooding, severe wind, storms or genuinely hazardous conditions. Where conditions become unsafe we may delay installation, change how we install, recommend an alternative location, suspend use of equipment or remove it. Safety decisions take priority over aesthetics and over the planned layout — that is not us being difficult, it is the one call we will always make the same way. Where weather prevents performance we work through the options with you first: delayed performance, alternative setup, substitution or rescheduling.
