A straight-edged board
Taller than it is wide. The board stands 6 ft high and 4 ft across, and the balloons are arranged loosely so that they sweep up one edge and pool at the opposite corner. The photos show both ways to dress it: one board printed for an engagement, with roses and gold lettering, the other left as a plain navy panel so the mustard and white balloons do all the work. Can the board be a plain colour?
The photos show both a plain board and a printed one. Tell us which you want when you book.
What size is it in metres?
1.2 m wide and 1.8 m high.
Will the colours match the photos exactly?
Very closely, but we would rather be honest about the small print of physical materials. Fresh flowers are natural products and vary slightly in colour, size and shape between batches. Balloon shades vary a little between manufacturers and production runs. And colours on a phone or laptop screen are never a perfect match for the same colour in daylight — that one catches people out more than anything else. Custom designs also need a degree of creative interpretation. Where a particular flower, colour or décor item becomes unavailable we will propose an equivalent, and anything materially different we discuss with you first. For custom boards, signs and printing, please check the proof carefully — once you have approved it, an error in the approved information may cost extra to reproduce.
What happens if I need to cancel?
More than 7 days before your event, we will move your deposit once to a new date within 60 days, subject to availability — we would rather keep your business than keep your money. The new date has to be mutually confirmed, and if quantities, location, season or logistics have changed the quotation may be revised. Within 7 days of the event the deposit is normally non-refundable and non-transferable, because by then equipment, décor, staff and transport have already been committed to you. If an event is cancelled after we have dispatched, arrived, started setting up or prepared customised materials, the full outstanding amount may remain payable. Any statutory cancellation or refund rights you have under Kenyan law are unaffected by any of this.
